As we approach 2023, it is clear that artificial intelligence (AI) is quickly becoming the norm for professionals looking to boost their productivity. I believe that the coming year will be a defining moment for the technology, with more professionals turning to AI to streamline their workflows and make their lives easier.

The proliferation of AI-powered tools and software is one of the key ways that AI is becoming the norm for professionals. There are now AI-powered solutions for nearly every aspect of professional life, from project management platforms that use machine learning algorithms to predict project outcomes to email management tools that use natural language processing to automatically categorise and prioritise messages.  The use of GPT-3 (Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3) is becoming increasingly common in the workplace and beyond. GPT-3 uses advanced natural language processing capabilities to understand and respond to user inputs, have the ability to hold seemingly human-like conversations with users, making them an increasingly popular choice for businesses looking to automate customer service, improve efficiency, and save on labor costs.

In 2020, tech mogul Elon Musk made headlines with his prediction that artificial intelligence will surpass human intelligence by 2025. As AI continues to advance at a rapid pace, it's important for businesses and individuals to stay informed about the latest developments and consider the potential impacts on our society and economy.

In addition to the growing number of AI-powered tools, the increasing availability of affordable, user-friendly AI platforms is driving the growing adoption of AI in the workplace. Platforms like Google Cloud AutoML and Amazon Sagemaker enable non-technical professionals to easily build and deploy their own AI models, opening up a whole new world of possibilities for streamlining workflows and automating routine tasks.

As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more prevalent in the workplace, it is critical for professionals to become familiar with the technology and its potential applications. While AI cannot replace human professionals’ creative and strategic thinking, it can certainly make their lives easier by automating routine tasks and freeing up time for more important work.

In the coming year, I believe we’ll see an increase in the number of professionals incorporating AI into their workflows, and I’m excited to see what new possibilities the technology will bring. As a result, now is the time for professionals to begin learning about AI and its applications in order to remain competitive in the market.

I have personally started testing and using AI to assist me in my work. From using AI-powered tools to manage my email and schedule, to experimenting with machine learning algorithms to analyze data and make predictions, I have found that AI can be a valuable addition to my toolkit. While there are certainly challenges and ethical considerations to be aware of, I believe that we are entering a new age of the way we work with technology.
